Situé en Bourgogne, le circuit de Dijon-Prenois a été inauguré en 1972. D’une longueur de 3801 mètres, le circuit offre un cadre très vallonné avec des dénivelés techniques et une grande majorité de section très rapides. Sur plus de 1100 mètres la « ligne droite de la Fouine » permet de prendre quelques 300 km/h.
